"ALONE I'LL GO FAST...TOGETHER WE’LL GO FAR”
Our Team
Elisa Bonora
Co-Founder / Editor / Producer
With a long list of credits in advertisements and documentaries, Elisa is an ACE & BFE editor, documentary producer and co-founder of Red Wolf Films. Her passion is in telling stories with a strong emotional and poetic arc. Inspired by the expanding community of talented filmmakers in Northern Ireland, Elisa moved from California with her son Giordano to open the doors of Red Wolf in Holywood. Since moving to Northern Ireland she has been reconnecting with Grace O’Malley’s spirit by sailing the coast of the Irish Sea with Blackmore and Rupert. In their free time you can find all of them onboard Pixie, a vintage sailing boat moored in Belfast Lough.
Giordano Bonora Groome
Co-Founder / Editor
Giordano learned to walk and talk in the editing room. Raised by a full time editing mother, he learned how to edit in Final Cut by the age of 5. He created his first masterpiece when he was 7 titled “I Like Cheese”. Giordano graduated in Computer Science and French history at Berkeley but the gravitational pull of the editing room was too strong to ignore. In his spare time he likes to throw things at people as hard as he can with the 2022 World Championship Northern Irish Dodgeball team.
Finola Couling
Editor
Fin graduated from Queen's University in 2020 with a degree in Broadcast Production. Her first feature documentary credit as an editor is for Maestra (2023) directed by Maggie Contreras which will premiere at Tribeca Film Festival 2023. She is a natural storyteller with deep empathy and driven by her passion for film. Fin is cool, calm and collected in the editing room balanced by fun and humour.
Rupert Hall
Editor
With an infinite list of credits in the film industry, from feature films to documentaries to script writing, Rupert is a true poet.
He shares his editing room with our resident ghost, Paul.
Despite a bit of a turbulent beginning, Paul and Rupert have found an understanding and live in creative harmony.
In his free time, you can find Rupert sailing on the Irish Sea in a vintage sailboat called Pixie with Elisa and Blackmore.
Shannon McCarthy
Assembly Editor
Shannon graduated from Queen's University Belfast with a degree in Broadcast Production in 2022. She is currently doing a Masters in Audiovisual Post-Production and its link with narrative development in documentary filmmaking whilst also working at Red Wolf. She is a fierce filmmaker, incredibly organised and a passionate storyteller. You can find her on-set directing her next short film drinking her 5th coffee of the day.
Teresa McDonald
Data & Media Manager
Teresa graduated from Queen's University with a degree in Film Studies in (2020) and is the newest addition to the Red Wolf team. She is extremely organised and passionate about the film industry - a great combination for our resident Data and Media Manager. Outside work Teresa loves Pokemon and her dogs.
Tara Mackie
Associate Producer
Tara's strength is in historical research and gathering resources for projects.
A stickler for detail, with 15 years of writing and editing experience, proofreading is Tara's first love. Golf is her second. Sad, right?
Paddy McCaughey
Executive Producer
Paddy had a rich and varied career before he decided to run away with the rock band that is Red Wolf Films! Paddy is always on hand for our editors, producers and directors with sage advice, wisdom and humour.
Blackmore Bonora
Emotional Editing Support
Rescued from sure death from a kennel in Apple Valley, California, Blackmore’s calling has been to emotionally support those who saved his life. With an unparalleled brain power, he has learned Avid, and understands when the application is closing and it’s finally time to go home for dinner. But the last thing he would ever have imagined was finding himself sailing the Irish Sea with Elisa, Rupert and the spirit of Grace O'Malley. He hopes to direct.
